The Textile Art Alliance of the Cleveland Museum of Art announced that this year's Wearable Art Fashion Show Boutique & Luncheon will be held on Sunday, October 18, 2015 at Landerhaven. This amazing boutique, luncheon and fashion show is attended by hundreds. I'm thrilled to participate in the Artists' Boutique. The fashion show is stunning!

The Cain Park Arts Festival attracts wonderful artists and exhibitors. Visit my booth #11 the 2nd full weekend in July (July 10-12, 2015)

The Cain Park Arts Festival is a juried fine arts and fine crafts event, featuring the work of up to 150 artists.The Festival is comprised of approximately 55% two-dimensional art, which includes painting, watercolors, hand-pulled prints and photography. The other 45% includes fine crafts in all categories ranging from fiber arts and textiles, sculpture, ceramics, all media of jewelry, wood, leather and glass. Aside from the Art exhibits, enjoy restaurant-quality food concessions and entertainment. 
This three-day outdoor event is held in Cain Park in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, located 8 miles east of downtown Cleveland and minutes from  University Circle.

A Holiday Arts & Crafts Show

The Beachwood Arts Council will host its annual holiday boutique on Saturday, November 15th from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This annual event is held at the lovely Beachwood Community Arts Center. There will be a splendid array of fiber art, ceramics, jewelry, glassware, photography and more. A handcrafted only show, nothing is mass-produced and everything is made in Northeast Ohio. The show's organizer, Leah Gilbert has selected more than 55 local artists.

I'll have my new designs at this show including these  27" x 72" hand-dyed rayon wraps. They have such a lovely drape and the color combinations are fascinating.

 

Otis' Old Curiosity Shop is like a Dickensian treasure trove of holiday gifts, local crafts, vintage curiosities, and fabulous toys. At Loganberry Books we scour near and far for interesting, inspiring and oddball wonders to bring out the joy of the holidays. The bazaar will be open during the months of November and December in the Loganberry Books Annex Gallery and will host a lively mix of these gift-giving favorites:

Artisan Bazaar
Saturday, December 6, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Sunday, December 7, 11  a.m. - 4 p.m. Admission is $5.00 and children attend free. This juried show features beautiful handcrafted works by many Northeast Ohio artists.
Laurel School is located at One Lyman Circle in Shaker Heights.

If you haven't  had the opportunity to stop by Loganberry Books, I hope you'll join the Grant Deming Artists at our opening reception. Established in November 1994, the bookstore is independently owned and operated and features carefully selected new, used and rare books.

Join me!  Visit Hale Farm & Village on August 30 for the Made in Ohio Art & Craft Festival, featuring over 100 artisans, local food vendors and all that Hale Farm & Village has to offer.
The $5 admission fee includes admission to the festival as well as the grounds and buildings at Hale Farm & Village.  Stroll through the historic village full of Ohio artists and food vendors. Sit down with a glass of wine or beer and enjoy the entertainment.

ATTACK OF THE FIBER ARTISTS: A Group Show by Members of the Textile Artists Association--August 2014

The website http://www.translationsart.com states its mission as fostering conversations among art, artists and community. Nestled in an artsy nook in Canton, the area merchants hold a monthly "Canton First Friday Event" giving all the opportunity to visit and enjoy local merchants and establishments.


Members of the Textile Artists Alliance are exhibiting throughout August. I'll be showcasing my framed silk pieces at this edgy Canton gallery (331 Cleveland Ave NW) 

Waterloo Arts Fest

The 12th Annual Waterloo Arts Fest will take place on Saturday, June 28, 2014 and will feature an exciting mix of innovative art and music experiences for all ages, the hippest local art vendors, CLE’s best food trucks, and the new, wildly successful Arts Alive program, which encourages attendees to roll up their sleeves, get their hands dirty and give art a try. www.artscollinwood.org
